QuickSilver Mailing Lists

There are now 3 mailing lists for those interested in following QuickSilver support and development.

QuickSilver Announce

This is a read-only list designated for announcements of full release updates that are no longer in beta phase. If you want to be informed when I put out new updates, join this list and you won't miss a thing.

QuickSilver Support

This is my preferred method of QS support. I also encourage general discussion of remailers and nymservers. This is an anonymous mailing list. Your email address will be stripped from your message prior to its addition to the list. Also, the subscriber list is private and known only to the list admin. If your security requirements do not allow you to join the list from you usual email address, possibly a HotMail, Yahoo, hotpop or other free email account will solve that problem. An excellent solution would be to use a nym account. QS can create this for you, but it is a step of difficulty higher than anonymous mail. If you take this route, do not use a favorite nym. In order to use a nym with a mailing list, you must disable the 'nobcc' nym option. This will result in spam being delivered that would otherwise bounce. If I need to get the word of some major problem to the users, the mailing list will be the first to get the info. To join the list

QuickSilver Betas

This mailing list is reserved for bug reports and discussions by those helping me in testing new code. I am currently introducing beta modules that will eventually be integrated into QS v2. If you will help me in this endeavor by testing the modules and reporting problems, I will be eternally grateful. However, if you are not accustom to encountering problems and reporting them, you should probably skip this opportunity. It doesn't help me to receive mail from irate users because something doesn't work as advertised. With betas you muse expect this and just be happy if it does not materialize!

On the other hand, for those willing to tolerate a few problems, you will be the first to have access to some much improved components. For you, a little effort will result in a very good deal! I will also use this list whenever important information must be passed on to users.

Important

I am not supporting QS or QS betas in the newsgroup, alt.privacy.anon-server. If you need support or wish to take part in testing of new modules do not expect to discuss them in the group. Join a list, or contact me privately or contact me porivately and anonymously. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
